Also; >social justice blogger>telling people to kill themselves I love that there’s a blog called “this is white culture” that is solely devoted to bad things white people did, not their cultures at all.  So I guess I can make a blog called “this is black culture” and post gang and crime records and that’s 100% okay.  Or “this is Muslim culture” and make it all about terrorism. But wait, you cry.  Not all black people are criminals and not all Muslims are terrorists.  That’s unfair!  And racist! WELL GOLLY GEE DO YOU THINK SO?  Because saying that all white people are responsible for the Atlantic slave trade sounds pretty racist to me, given that, you know, that was between the African slaveholders and the British and Americans and had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with my ancestors, who were incredibly poor farmers and serfs from Ireland and Lithuania who had to flee to America at around the turn of the century (by which time slavery had already been abolished in the US) because they were being treated like slaves.  Even if they had been living in America at the time when slavery was legal they wouldn’t have been able to afford a slave; in fact they probably would have been working with them in the fields and treated about the same, since the first slaves in America were actually white serfs.  But please, tell me more about how dirty my hands are because of circumstances surrounding my birth that I could not control and continue to treat me differently based on the color of my skin without actually knowing anything about my heritage, I’m sure that isn’t racist at all! The drink bleach thing of course is over the top but when someone says that white people are shitty, they don’t necessarily mean the entirety of the white populace(maybe they do), but more the fact that a maaaaassive chunk of white people are pretty fucking shitty to this day. I can recall so many occasions when it’s me, a white person, with a bunch of other white dudes and gals and they think it’s funny or edgy to say the word nigger, fag, etc once a sentence. The shitty thing is our white skin does = more privilege and I feel like this person who commented above me isn’t getting that. maybe they are. Yeah, white people have done bad things to white people, and others have done bad things to white people but come on, we know our past, and we know that even today we treat coloured skin far worse.

Next Gen Gaming Thoughts

One thing that I find really interesting and neat about new consoles coming out is that because of the need to make new games that are both played on the new and last gen systems you can tell that the games are not using the most that they can out of the new systems, graphically and programming-wise. Of course this is also because the developers are starting fresh on a new system but it definitely isn’t restricted to that reason.

So from the time the consoles come out, and the new games launch, to 3 or 4 years from now we are going to see a huge leap in both these fields. It might not even be that noticeable since we have come so far in the gaming industry(yet that is what they said years ago as well) but even if it’s not a gratuitous advancement you gotta think, ground textures and foliage might just look stunning, or how many players are in one match, or the amount of detail in a room being overwhelming. Or maybe just the difference in frame rate. But gaming is starting a new age, no matter if PC has always been ahead of the consoles, it will be interesting to watch like it has been thus far.
